  • May 21 | 7pm ET: PHLove Fundraiser – Live Nation Philadelphia and Live Nation Urban has partnered with the Middleton Family and ESM Productions to bring PHLove – a PHL COVID-19 Fund fundraiser to local, broadcast television and streaming outlets. The family-friendly event will air live on 6ABC, CBS3, NBC10, WHYY, and stream nationwide online. Daryl Hall, Questlove, and Patti LaBelle will headline PHLove and feature DJ Jazzy Jeff, Amos Lee, DJ Diamond Kuts & Friends, WALLO267, Jeffrey Gaines, Jay Buchanan of Rival Sons, The Geator, Jerry Blavat & Friends, and Pastor Alyn Waller and The Enon Tabernacle Fresh Anointing.   • May 23 | 8am PT/11am ET: Oprah’s Your Life In Focus: A Vision Forward Live Virtual Experience – Live every Saturday from May 16th – June 6th. Get ready for a  free, interactive, four-week virtual experience inspired by her sold-out national arena tour. Oprah will host 90 min. sessions where attendees can learn more on how to live a stronger, healthier, and more connected life right now. (Website)
  • May 23-25: Movement At Home – a virtual edition of Detroit’s Movement Music Festival, which usually takes place over Memorial Day weekend. In partnership with Beatport, the three-day live stream will be hosted on Beatport and Paxahau’s Twitch channels and broadcasted on Movement’s website, Facebook and YouTube channels. (Website)

LIVE NATION NEWS:

  • Live Nation recently announced Crew Nation – a global relief fund for live music crews. The company has committed to $10 million for the fund: an initial $5 million, then matching all additional donations dollar for dollar, up to another $5 million
  • Keith Urban thanked @vanderbilthealth‘s frontline workers with a special free show at the @stardustdrivein. Watch the full video here.
  • On May 16th, in partnership with The Roots, D-Nice played a DJ drive in concert exclusively for first responders! Live Nation Urban helped live stream the event at YouTube.com/theroots.
  • Over the past few weeks, Lollapalooza has launched two weekly livestreams: Lolla From The Vault every Thursday at 7pm CST and Perry’s Power Hour,  live Saturday’s at 9pm CST. Broadcasted on YouTube, the streams feature iconic performances including The Strokes, Foo Fighters, and Alesso to name a few. Each livestream benefits Crew Nation, a global relief fund for live music crews, to honor the many crew members that help make festivals like Lollapalooza possible.
Inspired by the launch of #GivingTuesdayNow global campaign this year, Metallica’s All Within My Hands Foundation launched their own #MonthOfGiving campaign where every Tuesday throughout May, Metallica will spotlight different organizations they are supporting through their grants for COVID-19 relief. Last week, Metallica featured Crew Nation with interviews of their touring crew members and special “Month of Giving” products that directly benefit our global relief fund.
