Wilco is excited to announce the return of Sky Blue Sky, a destination concert experience curated by the band, taking place January 17-21, 2022 in Mexico at the all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya. Sky Blue Sky will feature three Wilco shows, plus performances by Spoon, Kurt Vile & The Violators, Thundercat, Waxahatchee, Stephen Malkmus, Jeff Tweedy, Tank and the Bangas, Mountain Man, Nubya Garcia, The Autumn Defense, Nels Cline & Julian Lage, Neal Francis, and Britt Daniel (DJ Set). Pre-sale for returning guests opens May 26th and public on sale begins May 27th at 1pm Eastern at www.wilcoskybluesky.com.
Venturing into its second year, Sky Blue Sky presents a unique experience that goes beyond the music. The event is limited to 2500 guests who all stay on site at Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya, located between Playa del Carmen and Tulum. Package prices start at $1699 with all meals, beverages, concerts, and activities included. Daily activities offered include yoga, poolside games, cooking classes, and more. Additionally, guests can book off-site excursions to explore the local culture and natural beauty of the area. A variety of room categories are available, including Concert Courtyard, Stagefront Suites and rooms with rooftop terraces. Charitable organization Positive Legacy will be working with Sky Blue Sky to integrate live music and service by taking actions that positively impact the local community and the environment during the event. Positive Legacy has made an impact in the Riviera Maya region by providing emergency hunger relief, medical and school supplies, building playgrounds and community gardens, extensive beach cleanups, and improving the infrastructure of the largest turtle sanctuary in the Yucatan.
