Arkells Announce Between Us City Takeover With Three Night Run At Vancouver Clubs
One of Canada’s most legendary live bands, Arkells, are taking their high-energy show back to where it all began. Today, Live Nation and the band officially announced the Between Us City Takeover, a unique touring concept that will see the group performing three-night stands in Vancouver, Edmonton, and Calgary. Eschewing the traditional arena circuit for this run, Arkells are opting for an intimate “up-close and personal” experience in support of their forthcoming studio release, Between Us. Each city will witness three nights in three different clubs, ranging from historic local dives to iconic ballrooms.
The Between Us project is born out of a desire to foster deeper connections with the music community and celebrate the venues that form the backbone of the Canadian live scene. Frontman Max Kerman notes that the band hasn’t stepped foot in some of these rooms in over a decade, while others are entirely new territory for them.
