Sting Adds Fall 2026 Dates To “Sting 3.0” North American Tour

Following a string of sold-out performances across the globe, 17-time GRAMMY Award winner Sting has officially extended his acclaimed STING 3.0 North American tour into Fall 2026. Presented by the Cherrytree Music Company and Live Nation, this new leg finds the legendary musician stripping back his timeless catalogue into a powerful, intimate three-piece arrangement. Accompanied by longtime guitarist and collaborator Dominic Miller and dynamic drummer Chris Maas (formerly of Mumford & Sons), the trio delivers a high-energy set that reinterprets both solo hits and deep cuts from The Police.
The tour extension celebrates the release of his latest live album, STING 3.0 LIVE, available now on digital, CD, and 180g vinyl. This 10-song collection features a never-before-released live version of “Be Still My Beating Heart” and a fresh recording of his 1987 classic “Fragile.” The release arrived shortly after Sting’s newest single, “I Wrote Your Name (Upon My Heart),” which showcases the raw, rock-forward energy that has become the hallmark of this trio format. Under the direction of longtime manager Martin Kierszenbaum, the STING 3.0 era represents a bold creative pivot that emphasizes the fundamental power of his songwriting and musicianship.
For fans in British Columbia, the new leg kicks off with a special multi-night engagement in the heart of downtown. Sting will perform a two-night residency at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver on Monday, October 5, and Tuesday, October 6, 2026. Choosing the Queen Elizabeth Theatre over larger arena spaces allows for the “powerful and intimate” experience that the STING 3.0 concept demands. This Vancouver residency serves as the official launch for the fall leg, which will eventually carry the trio through Seattle, Montreal, and a six-night mini-residency at the historic Brooklyn Paramount in New York.
Sting’s career has been defined by his ability to constantly redefine his musical horizons. As the frontman, bassist, and principal songwriter for The Police, he helped shape the sound of modern rock before embarking on a solo career that has garnered nearly twenty GRAMMYs. The current 3.0 lineup captures this innovative spirit, focusing on the essential elements of his music. Fans attending the Vancouver shows can expect to hear iconic tracks like “Roxanne” and “Every Breath You Take” through the lens of this tight, stripped-down trio, alongside newer material that reflects his current creative peak.
To ensure loyal followers have first access to seats, members of Sting’s official Fan Club can participate in a dedicated presale beginning Tuesday, March 3, at 10:00 am local time via his website. Additional presales will run throughout the week, leading up to the general public on-sale on Friday, March 6, at 10:00 am local time. Given the sold-out nature of his previous North American dates and the limited capacity of the Queen Elizabeth Theatre compared to his typical stadium appearances, tickets for the Vancouver residency are expected to be one of the most prestigious captures of the 2026 concert season.
As the STING 3.0 Tour continues to garner rave reviews for its intensity and musicality, these newly added dates offer a rare opportunity to see one of the world’s most enduring artists in a setting that prioritizes the music above all else. Whether you are a lifelong fan of The Police or a follower of his diverse solo work, the Queen Elizabeth Theatre shows promise to be a definitive look at Sting’s legacy in real-time. Vancouver fans, prepare for a two-night masterclass in rock and roll from an artist who continues to prove that three pieces are all you need to command a stage.
