Thursday, September 11th: A Grand Opening with Electronic Vibrancy

The festival kicked off on Thursday, setting an immediate high bar for the days to follow. The afternoon saw early birds gravitating towards the Main Stage for the atmospheric sounds of Dust Cwaine and the energetic beats of Mat The Alien, warming up the crowd with a diverse array of electronic soundscapes. Over in the Dome, Zeyda and Prayer Handz delivered captivating sets, while Bo Jager-Essery and Rosa Graham brought their unique artistry to the Lafflandia stage, providing an intimate start to the festival’s comedic and spoken word offerings. The Main Stage quickly filled up for Hollow Coves, setting a mellow yet engaging tone for the afternoon. Meanwhile, the Dome offered a continuous flow of diverse acts, with Sekawnee and Canadian Beauty entertaining early audiences, and the infectious energy of The Return of the Jaded keeping spirits high. Lafflandia, too, offered a compelling counterpoint, with Efthimios Nasiopoulos, Katie Ellen Humphries, and Shirley Gnome delivering their unique brands of humor and storytelling, providing moments of laughter and reflection amidst the musical tapestry.

As night fell, Friday’s lineup delivered a powerful punch. On the Main Stage, Macy Gray entranced the audience with her distinctive voice and soulful presence, performing hits that resonated deeply with the crowd. The Dome kept the beats flowing with DATGUYRY, DJ Dabbler, and DJ Boltano, providing the perfect soundtrack for those looking to dance their way into the afternoon. Lafflandia continued to offer a compelling alternative, with comedic acts like Dan Duvall and Syd Bosel eliciting laughter and connection, adding another layer to the festival’s rich tapestry of experiences.
As Rifflandia 2025 drew to a close, the final headliners delivered truly spectacular performances. On the Main Stage, Walk Off The Earth brought their signature multi-instrumental energy and infectious enthusiasm, leaving the crowd in high spirits.
