Vancouver gets the first night

Of all the cities on the North American run, Bring Me The Horizon chose Vancouver to start it. The September 20 date at Rogers Arena is the opening night of The Third Ascension Program, the newest expansion of the band's POST HUMAN live universe — a high-concept, multi-sensory production built around cyberpunk visuals and the relentless, genre-blurring energy that has made the Sheffield group one of modern rock's biggest live draws.

The tour takes its name from POST HUMAN: NeX GEn, the band's seventh studio album. Surprise-released in May 2024, it was their first full-length since 2019's amo and the second chapter in the ongoing POST HUMAN series that began with 2020's POST HUMAN: Survival Horror. The record arrived to strong reviews and pushed the band deeper into the hyperpop-meets-metalcore territory they have made their own, from the fury of "Kool-Aid" to the soaring "DArkSide."

Support on the run comes from two heavy hitters: Pennsylvania horror-metalcore act Motionless in White and Ohio's The Plot in You, giving the bill plenty of weight from doors to encore. It also makes September 20 a marquee night for Vancouver rock fans — the same evening, Foo Fighters headline BC Place across town, leaving the city split between two of rock's biggest current touring acts.
